Five colour negatives produced for the Department of the Environment Photographic Library showing exterior views of homes on Hooker Close, off Barn Lane in Budleigh Salterton.
The Department of the Environment (along with its predecessor bodies the Ministry of Works and The Ministry of Public Building and Works) was the department responsible for government building projects and managing post war housing requirements.
All of the negatives have been catalogued in detail. Further colour photography of the same location taken at the same time are available within PSA01/04/H00779. Black and white photographs are available in PSA01/04/H00780.
