Description

Twenty black and white photographs showing locations around Falsgrave Road and Scalby Road in Scarborough. Sites include Falsgrave Road, Beulah Terrace, Victoria Parade, Foxtons Farm, Seamer Road, 21-23 Scalby Road and Scarborough Hospital, Scalby Road prior to construction of the dual carriageway. A number of the photographs were taken as part of town planning appeals relating to signage and hoardings. The contents date from the mid to late twentieth century. All of the photographs have been commissioned or collected by Scarborough Borough Council. Not all of the photographs have been catalogued in detail. A full handlist is available.
