BRADENSTOKE PRIORY AND CLACK MOUNT An archaeological survey

The site of the Augustinian priory at Bradenstoke (ST 97 NE 5), centred at ST 99577912, was surveyed by the Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England The survey included the area of the priory, now occupied by a modern farmstead, the pasture field to the north-east, and the escarpment. Clack Mount was also surveyed since it probably formed an integral part of the medieval and post-medieval estate.
