Description

The west wall is decorated with a line of shields and foliate bosses alternating with one another. The shields from north to south are Donne, John Fillioll, Phelips, John Blyth, Cardinal John Morton, Thomas Langton, Melplash, Bruining quartering Matravers and lastly a shield embossed with arabic numerals; 1498. There is also a picture in the centre of the wall showing a hunting scene.
