Description

A print of this image appears in the RCHME Inventory Notes for Swanage. This image is printed in the RCHME Inventory volume, Dorset II - South-East, Part 1. This statue, suggested in the RCHME Inventory Notes for Swanage to be Charles I, was part of a series of kings and queens which decorated the Royal Exchange until burnt down in 1836. The statue's legs, part of its arms, and head are missing.
