Description

A print of this image is in the RCHME Inventory Notes for Weymouth (Monuments 9-17). This mace has a banner which reads 'THE FREEDOME OF ENGLAND BY GODS BLESSING RESTORED 1660'. It is embossed with Irish harps and St George's crosses.
