Description

View Edge Quarry (now disused) is located approximately 0.8 miles south-west of Stokesay Castle. This drawing was created during phase two of repairs at the castle, and relates to areas of the quarry where stone was to be quarried, presumably for use at the castle during repair work. The drawing is one of a series made for the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission for England by architects S T Walker and Partners.
