Volume: Album of Photographs

Description

Album of twenty eight pages containing thirty four photographs and fifteen loose photographs, taken or acquired by the architect W D Caroe, showing both English and foreign buildings, some of which were designed or renovated by him.

Sites include Winchester College, St Stephen-By-Saltash Church, Exeter St David’s Church, St Mary’s Church in Bramford, and St Michael’s Church in Brampton Abbots. There are also images of Skepptuna Church in Uppland, Sweden, and the Church of San Lorenzo in Turin, Italy. A handlist is available.
