Southwark Municipal Offices and attached railings, Walworth Road SE17 - Southwark

Built as a vestry hall circa 1863-64, then later used as a town hall and more recently as municipal offices for Southwark Council. The building was severely damaged by fire in 2013. It has since been stabilised and remedial works have been undertaken, including construction of a new roof and provision of temporary roofing elsewhere. The Local Authority has marketed the property for expressions of interest for redevelopment and is considering proposals for its future use.
