Southwark Municipal Offices and attached railings, Walworth Road SE17 - Southwark

Built as a vestry hall circa 1863-64, then later used as a town hall and more recently as municipal offices for Southwark Council. The building was severely damaged by fire in 2013. It has since been stabilised and remedial works have been undertaken, including construction of a new roof and provision of temporary roofing elsewhere. The Local Authority has identified a preferred developer for the building and discussions are now taking place to agree a strategy for implementation of major repair works and conversion.
