Yaverland Battery, Sandown, Sandown - Isle of Wight (UA)
Royal Commission coastal battery completed in 1864 with later alterations. Mainly built of red brick with stone dressings. At risk due to vegetation growth and partial collapse of carnot wall. A plan for the long-term conservation of the monument needs to be developed with the owner.
