The Rom Skatepark - Havering
Built in 1978, The Rom Skatepark was designed by Adrian Rolt of G-Force and in 2014 became the first skatepark in England to receive national listed status. Following a fire in 2018 the park lost its (unlisted) indoor facilities which ultimately led to its closure in September 2019. The park has re-opened but requires concrete and drainage repairs. Historic England has provided advice to owners on surveys required to identify appropriate approaches to repair.
