Description

Detail of a stone cup-shaped font with a metal cover and interlacing carvings on the shaft and scenes around the bowl. The image contains partial views of two different scenes which are separated slightly by a winding line from the left side. On the left is a scene where two men appear to be fighting, while on the right are two figures with halos. The first figure holds a book in their left hand and the second holds a staff topped with a cross. Above these scenes is a band with a plaited pattern.
