GV II

House. Late C17. Painted roughcast over cob, half-hipped thatch roof with brick stack to junction of rear wing, probably a former lateral stack. 2-unit central-entry plan, heated by end stack to left and rear lateral stack to right. 2 storeys; symmetrical 2-window range. Probably early C19 two- and three-light windows with iron-framed small panes; wide C20 oak door; small C19 single-light window with 3 panes to right of right return. INTERIOR: the ground floor has a C20 staircase to the rear right beside an open fire; 2 chamfered beams, that to the right is ogee-stopped. The 3-bay principal rafter roof is not accessible.
