ZEALS MERE ROAD ST 73 SE (south side) 6/195 Milestone in front of east Black Dog Lodge GV II Milestone. Late C18. Limestone pillar with semi-circular headed top and shaped cast-iron plate attached to front; raised lettering: Wincanton / 6 / Hindon / 8. This road turnpiked 1754-56.
