THORNAGE THE STREET, TG 03 NE (East side) 2/129 Chapel Cottage c50m east of Church House II

House, C17. Coursed flint with brick dressings. Pantiles, single range, 3 windows. 2 storeys and attic. Tall rendered plinth. Projecting course of bricks below ground floor sill level. Late C19 3-light casements. Very small openings with brick hood moulds to right of porch and upper floor left.

Off-centre late C20 gabled porch of pebble and flint under pantiles. House door of 4 raised and fielded panels. Blocked openings in right hand gable with square brick hood moulds. Interior: left and right rooms with ovolo moulded beams, large fire places and tiled floors.
