ATWORTH CHURCH STREET ST 86 NE (south side) 2/41 Barn at Church Farm GV II*

Barn with 2-storey east end. Probably C16. Random rubble stone, concrete interlocking tiled roof with coped verges. Seven bays, 1 bays divided off at east end. Large 2-bay hipped porch on north side, lean-to extension attached to left with planked door and 2- light casement, gabled dormer with 2-light casement to first floor.

Rear has opposing entry with double planked doors, 3-light ovolo- mullioned casement with hoodmould to ground floor to right and gabled dormer with 2-light ovolo-mullioned casement, buttresses with offsets.

Interior has good roof; crucks with arch-braced collars and two tiers of purlins with slightly curved windbraces. Rubble stone wall separates 2-storey east end from main barn, floor inserted at west of barn. Several triangular vents visible from inside.
