Farmhouse, now house, c1840. Squared and watershot coursed stone with slate roof. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 3-window range with central entrance. Round arched architrave to 6-panelled door with plain fanlight. Windows to right are 4-pane sashes, those to the left have altered glazing. Openings with painted stone flat arched heads. Continuous sill band to first floor. Oversacking eaves and gable chimneys. INTERIOR: not inspected. The farmhouse was built to serve the factory community established by the Ashworths of New Eagley Mill between 1835 and 1855.
