House, C17, rubble stone and stone tiled roof. North end stack built into Gable Cottage (q.v.). One-and-a-half storeys. 2 dormer gables with 2-light recessed ovolo-moulded mullion windows with hoodmoulds. Iron casements. Ground floor long 2-light ovolo- moulded mullion window with hood and iron opening light, plain doorway and shopfront to right of 2 canted bay windows with glazing bars linked by lean-to roof, hipped at ends, carried over central C20 door. Large chamfered beams and north end stone fireplace to ground floor. Rear wing with east end stack and dove openings in gable.
