12/82 Sundial 5 metres south-east of south porch, Church of All Hallows - GV II

Sundial, 1683, sandstone, with brass plate and gnomon. Of square plan, socketed into square base. Lower half fluted, upper half tapering with moulded cap. Half way up, the sides are inscribed as follows: 'FD WD 1683 RG GR SIF'. The plate is inscribed: 'John Greenwood Junior Aug 18th 1749'.
