4/54 Methodist Church 16/7/58 (Formerly listed as - Methodist Chapel) II

Methodist chapel, 1859. Brick with slate roof. 2 storeys in 3 bays. Corner and 2 central pilasters to eaves. Plain C20 door with 2 square overlights under gauged skewback arch. Datestone above. One sash window left and right and 3 to first floor all with gauged skewback arches. Similar left and right returns in 2 bays. Hipped roof. Wrought iron railings to 3 sides : unadorned stiles with middle rail and square section verticals capped by fleur-de-lys linials which alternate between top and middle rail. Overthrow arch with scrolls at entrance. First floor gallery in interior.
