11/115 Fox and Hounds Public House

GV II

Public House. Dated 1834. Limestone rubble, whitewashed, graduated stone slate roof. An L-shaped block, the main facade facing south west, of 2 storeys and 3 first-floor windows to each side. Quoins. 4-panel door in architrave composed of pilasters, entablature with incised date and cornice. 4-pane sashes throughout, in plain stone surrounds, paired windows to ground floor, right. Roof hipped to left, with eaves stack far left; short ridge stack between central and right windows, and far right.

Left return: board door left of centre with small square 6-pane window to right; the remaining windows as before, 2 to ground floor and 3 to first floor. Ridge stack to left, the eaves stack is set between the two right windows. Interior not inspected at resurvey.
