SU 54 SW MICHELDEVER EAST STRATTON
2/19 Winchester Lodge II
Lodge. Early C19. Brick, stuccoed, slated roof. Drive front single storey wide single bay with central 4 column Doric pedimented portico. Underneath tripartite top glazed door. Corner pilasters, entablature, parapet and coping.
Rendered ridge stack at centre. Built circa 1805 in the position of but simpler in style to, a lodge suggested by Humphrey Repton in his unimplemented Red Book for Stratton Park, 1803.
