1837. Probably by the builder Henry Hammond Hayward for Thomas Cathpool, iron founder. Grey gault brick house, 2 storeys, the roof of slates.

5-window range of double hung sashes with glazing bars, centre front breaks forward and has a large Doric porch. Some contemporary interior features.
