POWICK CP A 449 SO 85 SW 3/94 Virginia House GV II Lodge to The Terrace (qv). Mid-C19. Weatherboarded brick with slate roof of shallow pitch. Built to resemble a Swiss chalet. Main roof aligned east/west, with gabled wing projecting from centre of north facade. Boarding is overlapped, with a band of decorative boards between ground and first floor.

Gables project considerably on shaped brackets and have bargeboards. They are of one bay, with 3-light mullioned windows. Ground floor windows have a transom. East gable covered by C20 single-storey porch. To the left of the wing on the north facade is one bay with casement windows. To the right is a doorway reached by wooden steps. Brick exposed on north wall.
