FOY CP FOY SO 52 NE 3/26 Carthage 25.2.66 II GV Farmhouse. C18, altered mid- to late C19. Rendered sandstone rubble, hipped Welsh slate roof. Rectangular plan with end stacks and right of centre entrance to north front, house flanked to east and west by service blocks, that to west adjoining main house, east block detached (east service wing to Carthage qv). Two storeys and attics. North front: three gabled dormers with 6-pane glazing bar sash windows, three 12-pane glazing bar sash windows below, right of centre doorway with pedimented surround, fanlight and 6-panelled door. Single-storey west adjoining wing (to right) with 3-light casement window.
