Description

The photograph was taken in the ruins of the old cathedral, the Cathedral Church of St Michael. The consecration was for the new cathedral which was built between the mid-1950s and 1962.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
