Description

On 18th December 1965, 160 children aged 4-7 years attended the annual Laing Sports Club's annual children's Christmas party at Mill Hill. The afternoon included party games, a magic show, a tea, and Christmas carols. Two clowns, G. Shuttleworth and B. Simmons, entertained the children, and presents were distributed by Father Christmas. Older children aged 8-14 years could attend an outing to the Golders Green Hippodrome to see a pantomime of 'Cinderella' on 3rd January 1966.
