Tufton is a small hamlet a mile south of Whitchurch on the river Test. The church (a grade 1 listed building) is a simple unadorned 12th Century building with 13th and 18th century additions. It comprises a Nave, Chancel, small bell tower and a southern brick porch

Tufton lies on and is accessible from the A34 three miles north of the A303. Tufton is just south of Whitchurch which is where the nearest railway station can be found (2 miles) Tufton is served by the Winchester to Whitchurch bus service.
