The photographer’s notes state: 'Looking down Orchard Street to Orchard Square. At the end can be seen the backs of Nos 7 (on left), 6, 5 and 4 (on right) Pipe Lane. The houses on the right side of Orchard Street are Nos 29 (shop) 28 "Gaunt House", 27, 26 & 25 (at further end).'
