Description

This is a photograph of an image printed in a book. It is believed that the image was photographed by PEW Street c1920-1950.

The photographer's notes state: 'Copy. The parish church. The church from N.N.E. (Illustration from an old print of or before 1771 from Trench's "The Story of Orpington" 1897'.

The full title of the book is 'The Story of Orpington: From Olden Times to the Present Day' and it was published in 1897 by F. Chenevix Trench.
