Description

The photographer's notes state: 'The old village schoolbuilding (now a potting etc shed) on W. side of the kitchen garden from S.E'.

Loring Hall, up until 1939, had been known as Woollet Hall but was renamed when it was purchased by Goldsmiths College and converted into halls of residence for male students. Later it was sold to BUPA, then to the charity Sargent Cancer Care for Children. Since 2004 it has been owned by Oakfield Care and is a facility providing care for those with learning disabilities.
