Description

The Odeon Theatre was opened in 1937. The building was designed by Budge Reid of Harry Weedon's architectural practice, and is noted as being an almost complete and unaltered example of a typical 1930s Odeon Cinema. It closed in 1975 and was sold to the International Bible Students Association, later becoming an Assembly Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
