Parish Church of St Peter, St Peters Square, Stockport - Stockport

Dated 1768, built in Flemish bond brick with slate roof and bell turret dome. Additional chancel phase built in 1888. The church is suffering extensive problems at high level. There is cracking to eaves level stonework and woody vegetation growth is prevalent along the gable copings. There are problems inside with water ingress through slumped and dislocated roof slating. The roof timbers behind the south west rainwater pipe outlet have deflected.
