Former Church of St Paul, Boughton - Cheshire West and Chester (UA)

Former church of 1876, extended in 1902 by John Douglas with richly painted interior in robust Arts and Crafts manner. High quality stained glass by Kempe and Morris. At risk due to the very poor condition of the electrical installation which represents a significant fire risk to the church fabric, rendering the building unusable. Closed as a place of worship and included in the recently completed 'Find a Use' project run by the Churches Conservation Trust. Options for reuse of the building are being explored.
