Church of St Peter, Berrister Place, Raunds - North Northamptonshire (UA)
Large urban church of C12-C14, with wall paintings. There is history of movement at the west end, with the northwest corner of the north aisle settling and the south aisle requiring tying by 2013. Stained-glass panels had been temporarily removed, with the wall paintings now conserved. A National Lottery Heritage Fund Grants for Places of Worship grant was awarded mid-2017 for localised underpinning and repairs. A structural roof timber in the nave is at high-risk of failure, yet a solution for its repair has been identified. The Diocesan Historic Churches Support Officer is providing advice.
