Former Junior Seminary Chapel of St Aloysius, Ushaw College, Ushaw, Esh - County Durham (UA)
Former Roman Catholic junior seminary chapel of 1857-9 by Edward W Pugin in the Gothic Revival style. Temporary urgent repairs were undertaken at the end of 2015 to stop significant water ingress caused by heritage crime. Discussions are in progress to define an economically viable strategy for the site as a whole and to ensure the early completion of a substantive phase of permanent repairs to the chapel.
