Old Judges House, 26, Westgate Street, Gloucester - Gloucester
Late C15 timber-framed merchant house, greatly enlarged and remodelled in late C16/early C17. Refronted and altered internally c1815. Operated as seed merchant for c100 years until 1989, then partly occupied as bookshop, before becoming vacant. The upper floors are now accessible via a new lift. Listed building consent was granted in February 2024 for re-roofing, maintenance access onto the roof and replacement windows, which, once implemented will help secure the future conservation of the building.
