This is a special type of component for showcasing sets of images. This is the primary method for displaying multiple images at once

How it works

Uploaded images are laid out in a simple masonry grid, where image aspect ratio will be displayed and not masked into a container. 

There is a hover interaction state on desktop views where the image will zoom in when an image is rolled over. 

Images can be clicked and will open in a lightbox where a description is visible and all images within the gallery can be navigated through. 

Video is not an option when using an image gallery.

Intended purpose

Human minds love visual content, so more images in one place can create a sense of unification of content, it sets strong connections and associations. 

The gallery is best place to be used when there are multiple images relevant to at article.
