House, part of farm group. Dated 1596. Deeply coursed millstone grit
on plinth, coursed rubble to left. Some repair work. Stone slate
roof. Central stack, and former gable stack to left. Recent garage
door to right. Original entrance with chamfered reveals. Lintel has
initials and date (indistinct), hollow chamfered hood mould over. To
the left of the doorway is a 2-light fire-window, one 5-light window
and a further 2-light window. all double chamfered and each with hood
mould. To 1st floor is one 3-light and one 6-light double chamfered
window, the latter having square king mullion, and the 2 mullions to the
right are square replacements. Two C19 3-light windows to right.
Small outshut to rear. Interior altered.
