Bank. c1875. Ashlar sandstone on limestone plinth, slate roof. 3 storeys and attic. 6 half-bays. Italianate. Moulded plinth. Entrance to bay 1 has part-fluted pilasters with composite capitals; stone transom beneath overlight; lintel with carved keystone; carved brackets to cornice surmounted by balustraded balcony with panelled corner dies. Matching pilasters rise from moulded sill band to divided round-arched windows with archivolts and keystones. Half-bay to right has altered side doorway under round-arched niche. Later fascia sign beneath ground-floor cornice. 1st floor: projecting sills to plain sashes in scroll-shouldered architraves under panelled friezes and cornices. 2nd floor: string course and fluting beneath sill band from which rise plain pilasters with decorated capitals; plain sashes in architraves. Entablature surmounted by corniced parapet with dies over each bay division. Mansard roof with corniced end stack on left and matching stack to right of bay 4.
