BABCARY CP CHURCH STREET (West side) ST52NE 3/8 Bower monument in churchyard, - about 2 m south-east of porch, Church of the Holy Cross GV II Chest tomb. Cl8. Doulting and Keinton stone. Base buried plain slab flanks and ends with fluted corner plasters and panelled centrepieces to flanks, pulvinated frieze, and moulded coving to hipped top. Commemorates several members of Bower family including William Bower, died 1724, and John Lewis Bower, died 1785.
