Assessing the Impact of Tall Buildings on the Historic Environment

The overarching aim of the project is to improve understanding of how the impacts of tall buildings on heritage assets and historic areas are visualised, understood, and accounted for within the planning process, drawing conclusions from examples of good and bad practice. The purpose of this document is to present a summary of the key findings of the research, and provide recommendations to Historic England on how to encourage good practice.
