Church of St Paul, Mores Lane, Brentwood - Brentwood
Parish church 1878, by EC Lee. Flint walls with stone dressings. Leaking iron gutters on stone stringcourses starting to cause failure in stone. Evidence of active leakage. Much Bath stone in evidence, some of which appears to be of poor quality. Weatherings particularly on the tower are failing and the erosion is exposing the flint facings. Footpaths run around the east gable, the base of the tower and the west gable, so these elements potentially pose a Health and Safety risk.
