Description

The gardens at Hidcote Manor were created by Major Lawrence Johnston between 1907 and 1948, when the gardens were acquired by the National Trust. The gardens are described as being in the Arts and Crafts style, and form a series of named 'rooms'. The Bathing Pool Garden was part of the first stage of the garden, which was developed by Johnston between 1907 and 1914.
