Description

Ashcombe windmill dated from 1818. It was destroyed during a gale in 1916. A facsimile of the original building has recently been constructed on the same site.

The reverse of this photograph's mount has been incorrectly marked with 'Bembridge Windmill' (Isle of Wight).
