Description

The billiard hall was designed by Albert Bye for the Willie Holt billiard company, which operated several billiard halls in the Birmingham area in the early 20th century. It opened in August 1913. The building was converted into a pub as part of the J D Wetherspoon chain in 1998. This photograph was published on page 123 of 'Played in Birmingham' by Steve Beauchampe and Simon Inglis.
