Description

A series consisting of 13 slides showing country houses including Eltham Palace, Greenwich; Anyoe Park, Wiltshire; Newby Hall, North Yorkshire. There is coverage across various counties. The buildings date predominantly from the 17th and 18th centuries, with Wilton Hall, Wiltshire, being an early 16th century example. One of the buildings, Grovelands House, London, is shown after conversion into a hospital.
