Description

The land between Drift Road and Park Lane was bought by Jacob Berg in 1920, and became known as the Park Estate and later East Beach. The area is home to a number of former railway carriages converted into holiday accommodation in the early 20th century. Some survive whilst others have been replaced by modern sea-front homes.
