Description

This cinema building was designed by the architect Harold S Scott, opening in 1937 under the name of the Regal Cinema. It operated as a single screen cinema until early 1977 and was subsequently converted into a bingo club with two screens. The Regal Entertainment Centre closed in 2003 and the building was demolished in 2004.
