Originally catalogued as part of the NAR Photograph Cataloguing Project. A hand list of all these colour slides is also given in the report RP00002

Archival History

This collection contains data migrated from the Archaeology Photographs database, a legacy Informix system, which was catalogued differently from the AMIE standard. One notable variation is that captions for photographs of plans or drawings at level 5 do not state that they are photographs copying other forms of archive; there is also no secondary archive type referring to the form of the material that was photographically copied. An indication of the material which was copied is provided in Scope and Content e.g. Maps and Plans
